MODERN SLAVERY ACT 2015
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes the Seed Developments Limited slavery and human trafficking current statement. It sets out the steps that Seed Developments has undertaken – and is continuing to take – to ensure that modern slavery or human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chain.
Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. We have zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to creating effective systems and controls in place to safeguard against any form of modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business.
Our Policies
We have published our Anti-Slavery Policy to all staff. Our HR function strives to help ensure that our Anti-Slavery Policy is complied with, and to manage any concerns. Our Whistleblowing Policy ensures all employees know they can raise concerns about how colleagues are being treated, or about practices within our business or supply chain, without fear of reprisals. Our Recruitment and Vetting Policy includes conducting eligibility to work in the UK checks for all employees to safeguard against human trafficking or individuals being forced to work against their will.
